Its been very good so far (5 episodes as of now)
King fans should really appreciate it. Definitely a LOT of ties to his previous books .

It's been fun to watch. Bill Skarsgård is creepy AF.

The 4th episode was wild. 5th dragged for about half of it but picked up and produced some answers but created more questions .

Yea and they only do the one episode a week shit. I prefer Netflix way of throwing out the whole season .
But its a very good show and really fantastic if you're a King fan and know the books.

Haven't watched the last 2 episodes. Thanks for the reminder. Will see if my wife wants to catch up after she gets done with work tonight.

Watched the first 3, Skarsgård's character is intriguing but honestly, I've been rather underwhelmed so far.

I'm digging it so far. King and Abrams are a good combo.

I’m not one who usually clamors that a show is going too slow. I love bb, and better call Saul, so slow burn shows are ok.

    IF

you get interesting characters, that I actually care about, and have some depth.

Castle rock is moving way too slow. 5 eps in, and it just seems they are trying too hard to be creepy. They just need to get on with the story about the kid. And, I don’t really care about any of the characters. I’ll probably give it a few more eps, but JJ Abrams is already on my “do not trust” list after Lost.

I feel like they put too little focus on what happened at the end of episode 4. That episode had a great ending and the next episode felt like they moved on too quickly .

Was that the house scene? I watched all 5 episodes in a row on Saturday, so it blends together.

I really like the show, though. Just wish Hulu followed the netflix model of posting the whole season at once.

The prison scene with the guard. They seemed to but very little focus on that in the last episode and I thought that was a huge moment .

Yeah, i agree with that. It's almost like the whole thing was just meant to expedite the release of the dude. I'm ok with it, though, because there's really not a whole lot of focus to put on it. It's not like anyone could ask the guard why, ya know? And as viewers, the "why" is pretty obvious.

    Yea it was wild.
Was he lying? Was episode 9 a lie?
What threw me off was his face in the flashlight and the smile at the end.

I'd also say the face that flashed in the woods threw me through a pretty big loop. Gotta be honest, I'm irritated as shit having finished a series that finally gave some answers in episode 9, only to bring back the same goddamn questions in the finale. The only saving grace was the nod of Jackie Torrance making a trek to the Overlook hotel in the end credits
