That's their problem though. They can't get their borderline prospects to stay long-term. Malachi Richardson blows up in the tourney. Gone. Tyler Lydon. Gone. Would not surprise me to see Tyus Battle leave either.

Haha, yea i thought that to. But he has been been really good after his injury. Kind of surprised me. Bagley not getting unanimous FOY is a joke. Guess he lost a vote for missing games? Glad to see UVA get Guy in there. Bennett at COY was a no brainer. Good to see Carter on the second team. If not for Bagley everyone would know about Carter. I like watching him just as much or more than Bagley. Because he actually plays some defense.

Bennett has proven to be a winning coach in the ACC. He definitely deserves the award, no doubt. But Kevin Keatts taking over at NC State and going 11-7 his first year earned him some votes IMO. I am more surprised that he only got 2 votes than I am that Bennett wasn't unanimous.

I think Gary Trent was sort of penalized for being the #3 freshmen for Duke. I would have thought he was good enough for at least Honorable Mention - also didn't make the All-Freshmen team. When I compare his conference stats with say Lonnie Walker, I'm more inclined to go with Trent Jr.

Yea wasnt upset that he didnt make the all-freshman team although i wouldnt have been surprised if he did, but thought he would have for sure made honorable mention. There was a stretch there from about the Wake Forest game to the 1st VA Tech where Trent was probably the second best player on the floor
