To Destroy Kansas, destroy North Carolina, and beat Kentucky all in a row to then lose a game in that fashion.
Had to FIFY. What made it really special was HOW they destroyed those blue bloods. Shit they smoked UNC and almost won it all even after Okeke went down. It was an epic run.

I mean, Auburn beat us fair and square, but it was in overtime. We definitely didn’t get anywhere close to smoked.

edit: can’t read. Sorry. His post said beat

11 of the 15 ACC Schools have been to the Sweet 16 since 2015.
7 of the 15 ACC Schools have been to the Elite 8 since 2015.
3 of the 15 ACC Schools have won a National Title since 2015.

Yeah we destroyed Kansas and North Carolina. Beat UK but okeke didn’t play against uk. Okeke when healthy was playing like the best player in the Country in that tourney. North Carolina had zero answer for him.

2015, 17-5 with 6 bids, WP of .773
2016, 19-7 with 7 bids, WP of .731
2017, 11-8 with 9 bids, and a WP of .579
2018, 12-9 with 9 bids, WP of .571
2019, 15-6 with 7 bids, WP of .714

So total, win percentage is .678 74-35
and total wins per bid is a shade under two with 38 bids

Easier to look at it from a winning percentage, IMO. Still, it's the ACC by quite a bit. The other 5 conferences are all within 7% of each other. And the gap between the ACC and the Big Ten is 7%+

So long story short, best conference in the tournament in recent memory by far. You can see these stats at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_NCAA_Division_I_Men's_Basketball_Tournament and just substitute the year in the url segment

So, to put into perspective for those Big 12 fans, the ACC and Big 12 are almost even in the loss column; ACC has two more losses. But, we also have 31 more wins than the Big 12. Not even remotely close. The gap has been substantial in this time period.

Obviously this is a down year for the ACC, so the gap should shrink quite a bit.

Kermit whitfield is still running, and Damien Craig definitely was stealing our signals :D
The Craig line is the biggest bs the Nole fanbase has ever come up with. All teams steal signals. That was cuck jimbos dumb fault for not changing them. So many things in that game had to go the noles way in that game in second half and they all Did.

Auburn guy pulls a hamstring on the kick off return or he is tackled easily.

fake punt that everyone in stadium knew was coming

short arm throw to wide open Ricardo louis

missed routine tackle on a screen pass that goes for 60 yards.

Cody parkey injury. Guy suddenly couldn’t get touchbacks even though he had done it all year until that game

Trying to figure that out, but one thing I have found, is that since 2016, every school except for Boston College has gone dancing. That is a really amazing stat

Im pretty sure 100% of the Big XII has gone in the same timeframe. TCU is probably the weakest link and they went out and got Jamie Dixon to make the program respectable. We lack Nattys but top to bottom the Big XII is a grind especially with the balanced 18 game schedule.

You're right, but that is with 33% less teams, which is significant. Not disagreeing with the idea about the grind, I remember the days where everyone was on the schedule twice but we weren't that good back then and just about everyone else was. It's just one of those things when you have 15 teams, no way to play a balanced schedule, and generally we don't get a schedule that is soft where the bottom three teams are all on the schedule twice
