It’s all BS.
We need to start giving pollesters tests.
Win all your games and #1 will come .
I think it’s because of their UCFans.
Their UCFans don't get any votes so it's not them .
Same reason Ole Miss in not ranked number 1.
You need to arrange for pollsters to only watch UCF games. Their minds are being poisoned by knowledge.
I personally think they're good enough to be 0
Pollsters conduct polls not vote in them chief.
It’s a travesty UCF isn’t #1 OP, we’re all outraged.
They're #1 in your heart OP or has that Raccoon usurped them?
Thanks, but nobody’s sympathy will quell this UCFan’s outrage.
Dude. Seriously. I really hope you’re just drunk and not this strung out on this shit.
Maybe a little from column A and maybe a little from column B
Because there’s not a “#1!”
Bama is #1, so maybe UCF should shoot for that.
Time to go Indy OP
Because UCF is inconsequential.

UFC is #1

I’m good being top 10 this early in the game. We’re a little bit of chaos away from cracking the top 4. Plus, it’s shaping up that we’ll have probably 1, maybe 2 top 25 wins to end the season in Cincy and USF...
Changing from UCF Knights to UCF Racoons should help you get there.
They aren't the best team in the country.
But I'm just guessing.
Last season, I had UCF as the #3 overall team in the country going into bowl season, and they were consistently rated by me in the top 5 in the last third of the season.
CM currently has the team rated 14th overall. Their SOS is .397 or 128th "best". They have played 0 teams in the top 25 AND the top 50.
In fact, they are NOT the highest rated team within the American Conference. Cincinnati is 6-0 and currently rated 10th.
Now lets compare those numbers to the teams Colley has in the top 6:
1. Notre Dame - 6 wins, 0 losses. 15th best SOS or .601. 2 wins in the top 25, 3 wins in the top 50.
2. Clemson - 6 wins, 0 losses. 26th best SOS or .567. 3 wins in the top 50.
3. Georgia - 6 wins, 0 losses. 36th best SOS or .553. 1 win in the top 25 and 3 wins in the top 50.
4. Ohio State - 6 wins, 0 losses. 72nd best SOS or .506. 1 win in the top 25, and 3 in the top 50.
5. Alabama - 6 wins, 0 losses. 78th best SOS or .496. 2 wins in the top 50.
6. NC State - 5 wins, 0 losses. 91st best SOS or .480.
Now, I agree that Milton and his boys are on an unstoppable roll at the moment, but I would disagree with the concept they should be "ranked" #1 overall or in the top 4.
The good news here is that their schedule will get BETTER. They will be playing Memphis and South Florida on the road, and Cincinnati at home.
watch yourself … it is against the board's policy to speak the truth about sec or bama … one can get be sent to time out for speaking the truth regarding those two...
Biased on your Bias?
Or Cincinnati... 6-0
Good attempt at answering the OP.
But nobody cares about the path it took for the 2002 Super Bowl Champs to win. It doesn’t matter about SOS. Nobody can beat my UCF Knights.
Not enough respect for the knights? I blame the peasants.
We need to go back to feudalism.
Then maybe UCF would get some respect.
Cincinnati is obviously the best team in the country
No. Based on results this year.
Try scheduling ranked teams rather than tanked teams.
Honor, Jeff Potrykus is a CFB writer for Milwaukee Journal Sentinel who covers Badger football. He shares your love for Taco Bell. I just thought this is a UCFact you should know. His twitter is jaypo1961 if you feel like following him.
Here, here watch yourself there young man that is one of the best kept
secrets of the board.
I do not really agree with this either.
OCC games are scheduled years in advance. Nobody knows which teams will be "ranked" ahead of time. Unless you're scheduling Ohio State, Alabama, or Oklahoma, it's playing Russian Roulette.
This year, the Knights scheduled both North Carolina and Pittsburgh for their two AQ opponents.
And lets not pretend, we live in a world where "ranked teams" are determined objectively and every team can magically challenge whoever they want.
At the moment, I do not think they are a top 10 team, but if they can beat Cincinnati, South Florida, Memphis, and remain undefeated, then I think they definitely deserve playoff consideration.
UCF will not be ranked higher than an undefeated Notre Dame, Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and West Virginia. ESPN hates the AAC.
Taco Bell wrappers are being flown at half-staff at participating locations in protest.
