6th Annual College Basketball Draft

you going to release your list pre draft?
if so you could shuffle a few players rankings to mess with folks.

Hah that would be fun to do. A semi-believable list, but with several players not accurately reflected.

Only thing is, I haven't even developed my own list yet. I'll post whatever tops 100 rankings I can find on the net.

Edey at 11 and 18 is way too high. Dude is a hack!!

You trying to steal him in the 3rd or 4th round?

Even with the limited playing time, he was still HM All-American.
I think he got him pretty late last year. Maybe just a little bit before I got Kessler.

You got another trip coming up?

Not sure when the start date would be, exactly. Maybe next Monday. Allow a little time for everybody to study who's out there. And a little time to potentially get two more posters.

Lol yes. You know the wife loves her fall/pre hoops season trips. Out of country from Friday the 7th to Friday the 14th (coming back in time to kick Clemson’s butt!).

I’ll have good internet in hotel but will be like 6 hours different. So I’m happy to participate, just might be at weird times.

Terquavion Smith at 17 in one and 60s in the other. Big spread.

I think he got him pretty late last year. Maybe just a little bit before I got Kessler.

He was a steal last year, no question. As was Kessler. But, I feel like just about all returning HM All-Americans should be gone by the end of the 2nd round in this draft.

Fall vacations are the best. Just hard to do them now with kids in school. Where to this time? Western Europe?

Feel free to use all of that 24 hour draft clock. Or email me (dukedevilz@yahoo.com).

Clemson isn't super dominant this year, so I think FSU could take them down. But, I'd still be surprised if it happened.

Stats-wise, I feel like he's worthy of a top 20 selection. He could easily average 20+ ppg. But, the downside is NC State's ceiling is probably the NIT. So, making an All-American team seems very unlikely. I might split the difference and rank him in the 40's somewhere.

Yeah, Paris. Taking the MiL for her 65th. And yes fall trips are spectacular.

Totally agree about TS.

You want in on this league, lurk? You seem interested enough in this thread, at least. That's a good start.

2 more spots left. Tagging a few that participated in prior years - or who randomly dropped by in last year's thread.

@ThePhog08 @mtsuhog85, @Villian07, @WojoRising, @Noahtogo24, @The Orange Reaper, @jhmossy, @Danger 35 Zone, @imajericho

As a last resort I will. But I'm an international pilot and am gone up to 6 days at a time. Getting pics in on time would be difficult

I'll wait until Friday morning to get a 12th poster. If nobody commits, would be great to have @lurkeraspect84 as our 12th member. He's been pretty active on these threads anyway, I think he could handle it.

I'd like to simulate the draft order sometime on Friday. And then the start date for the draft will begin on October 10th at midnight. The poster with the 1st pick will have 24 hours to make their selection.

@lurkeraspect84 is active in every thread. I think it’s a cry for help.

Alright, to anyone who may be reading, this is your last day to commit to the draft. I'm going to take Lurk for the 12th and final spot if I don't hear from someone in the next 24 hours.

Hey gents!! Sorry won't be able to participate this year due to some commitments, but have fun and good luck to all of you!!
Always knew turtles were quitters.

And here is the draft simulation. I conducted 3 simulations. Averages determine the draft order. There were two separate ties which resulted in a one-time sudden death simulation.

And the averages...

Jimbo/lurk tied, as did Wojo and GE Nole.

Here are the two sudden death simulations (can't have less than 8 teams in these simulations).

I assumed Tshiebwe was a lock at #1. But, I don't know. I could legitimately see hail taking Hunter Dickinson at #1 lol.

Feel free to swap your draft order, if any of you all are interested in doing that. Hail will have 24 hours to make the 1st selection in the draft on Monday, October 10th.

For anyone curious, I did the draft simulations at https://www.draftordergenerator.com/
Damnit, congrats on the win @dukedevilz, you lucky sumbitch!!

If anyone wants my 3rd pick, we can swap positions. I'll give everyone 24 hours to respond - and I'll do another draft simulation if there's more than one person interested in moving up.
Pick me pick me! The loveable loser of this league and board in general.

I'll give everyone the day to see if they're interested in swapping. Then sometime tomorrow I'll do another simulation (assuming others are interested).

I would love it but I'm good with you keeping it. I think the 3rd pick is the easiest pick in the entire draft.

Well, since I offered and WeAreDePaul has wanted to swap, it is effectively gone already. Feel free to challenge him for that pick.
