3 straight title games for the big 12. Can it go back to back?

League sucks, remember?
Oh I remember. To peoples credit we did bounce early for a while there as a league a lot really until tech and Baylor took it a level up a few years ago. OU got 2016 FF too. Now texas with beard, ISU and Otz and huggy always going to bring it. Kstate with Tang will get them back on track. Now TCU is a player with Dixon. There’s just NO weaknesses anywhere. 6-0 first round this year and 7-1 last year the same. Nobody else is doing that. So much balance and depth.

we hang Monday the torch is passed from the ACC.

The depth of the league has been a little overrated in some years, but not this season. Every team was at least average. Iowa State's the best example of how tough the league was. They went undefeated in non-con games until the Sweet 16, but got their asses handed to them in conference play.

what about wvu? 13-2 and ranked with wins over UConn and others. Kerplat

Haha nice

SEC, Big10, Big 12 and ACC all pretty interchangeable this year and in general. Big East slight drop off maybe but great league still. Pac prob last.

ACC got a bad rap bc of their OOC but ended up showing it was just bad scheduling based on the tourney.
There's always been about 7 good to great "conferences" in college basketball, with a handful of others right below that bottom tier. For example, the A-10 in certain years when teams like Dayton and VCU and Davidson etc are all solid mid majors having good seasons. And the MVC when they had a solid top half of their conference, and really this last year they had 4 good teams, just not comparable to the better teams in the tournament.

It'll be interesting to see what the MVC does though going forward as Loyola departs for the A-10 of all f***ing conferences (because of course that makes the most sense for a small Chicago-based private school, to play a bunch of east coast teams every year), and Murray State and Belmont join the MVC.

ACC is the best conf over 50% of the years in my biased opinion. The titles speak for themselves since thats the premise of ur post.

Everyone knows the ACC has won a lot of championships. That doesn’t mean it’s been the best league in recent years.

Na prolly not at least the past 3. But doesnt mean much at all come march, aka what matters.

plus titles(and apparently runner ups) seem to matter alot to the OP

It has been. As was the old big east. But my point in the post is the baton could be passing to the big 12 for the best right NOW or of the recent past to present. Could the key word. If KU hangs it after Baylor just did and Tech played for it in 19, hard to argue the best league currently.

Best conference since 2000? ACC. Then big east.

best from 1998-2012 before it folded as it was ? Big east.
