Congrats to @lurkeraspect84 on his 18-point week. The ESPN predictive model finally came through for him. Scores varied widely this week, which is what I like to see! @WeAreDePaul retains the lead for another week.

One thing that I thought was crazy is @KisteK and @duckboy33 both had 3 correct picks this week: SMC, Duke, and Iowa State. But, KisteK only got 6 points out of it (3-2-1), while duckboy got 15 (6-5-4). Those point values we assign each team are huge! 9-point swing right there.

Was debating on which UConn game to use. Tuesday against Marquette (a red-hot team), or Saturday against Creighton. I kind of like the Tuesday game more, but I do think it's better to allow more time for everyone to get their picks in.

DVR the games and cover up the bottom of the tv, where the scores are being displayed (i.e. dark paper/tape).

you must be forgetting my famous posts about my DIY Sports Ticker Blocker. Bought some thick black ribbon and attached velcro to the ends. Put velcro on back of tv. Voila, sports ticker blocker. But, then I got a much bigger TV, like 80 inches and the weight of the ribbon and the length of the TV cause it to droop. Now I just use a photo that I put on the cabinet under the TV and it covers up most of the sports tickers.

If I'm ever elected president the first thing I do is outlaw sports tickers. Such an antiquated and annoying feature it needs to go the way off the dodo bird. No one needs that crap now with cell phones. and why have these amazing tvs if you're gonna cover up part of the screen with nonsense.
