I mean, I don’t disagree with any of that, but lordy that’s a bad poll.

I honestly though it was a parody.
It’s his own quant formula so you have to wait until more games are played before taking it too seriously. It’s basically last season (unclear what adjustments he makes, same with kenpom and others) plus a few games this season.

This is what I think is going on with Kentucky: Duke is the only decent team they have played and so their rating is heavily influenced by their result against Duke; much more than the blowouts against bad competition. Thus Kentucky is jumping around as Duke does.. I ran this this morning and KY was down to like 24th. Pretty sure this is because of Duke’s loss to Ohio State and not anything Kentucky did in the meantime.
