If you look to the numbers on the right, Baylor in a class of their own.
#9 Villanova is only 2.1 points away from being #2.

Arizona's average ranking in both Human and Computer was 5th. That was good enough to get them to #2 overall.
It's a crapshoot.

Gonzaga was 31/34 in RPI. That dropped them from a very clear #2 (2.5) to tied for third (6.6).

Doesn’t really feel like CBB season until these posts are out. Great stuff as always.

Still doesn't for me. Can't tell if it it's just me or college basketball as a whole.

As a KU fan, we need the NCAA shit to happen already so we can stop recruiting tier B & C guys that we end up pushing out the door in exchange for tier B & C level portal players.
Can't believe it's been hanging over our head since 2017. It's going to end up affecting players that were in elementary school when the allegations occurred.

I'm also a dad now, which is pretty kewl.

To sum it up, Baylor curb stomps everyone else and the ACC is laughably bad.

Love that you do this but I don’t understand including RPI when everyone condemns it as a functional metric.

I consider it every year, but 1/7 weight is small enough for me to keep it going, considering how (stupidly) impactful it was in recent history.
I try to mention who is hurt/helped by it. Only 6 out of 34 teams moved more than 2 spots because of it, and 5 of them were by 3. So not a huge deal in my eyes.

I almost like keeping it just because I enjoy seeing how far off it is compared to everyone else.
