Not sure what you mean by change of tune as I was responding directly to what you said. Please clarify. You’re flat out wrong about Hurley — after the second consecutive first round exit, there was plenty of chatter about his future UConn. That said , I do think he would have survived any job...

Not a peep ? lol…. not even remotely accurate. Why are you wrong so much ? Here’s a quote from my above post: “Personally, I’d say UK is on another level due to their crazies.” Read much, Sabrina?

It’s easily a top 5 job. Should maybe be higher. Great fan support , in between the 1st and 10th largest TV markets , in the most productive area of the country for basketball talent and in a league where they are by far the best program.

lol….chill out… I’m not sure what you are talking about taking it personal. Like zero clue . I pointed out that UConn fired a guy that had won an NC to demonstrate the immense pressure there is at UConn - a point which you are incorrectly challenging. You should really be thanking me for...

We’re going to have agreed to disagree and I can assure you I know way more about this situation then you do. The other element was they had Hurley locked up before they fired Ollie. The sanctions were a joke: “three Level I violations stemming from the following: summer pick-up games that...

That’s incorrect. He was fired because he was losing and the program was heading off a cliff. The infractions were used to try and negotiate his buyout which was $11 million. UConn lost that argument.

Lol.... it really is impressive how the uninformed have such incorrect opinions. I guess your forgot that UConn fired a guy who a national championship four seasons earlier.

What is with blue blood hiring...

Yes. Does having more wins than UConn make a program a blue blood?

    Stop the bullshit Kentucky...

Are these the same talking heads that were confident in Oats, Drew, Hurley, Wooden?

At this point, you cant deny that UConn is blue blood already

Fair comment but there has to be some adjustment for probability based upon historical metrics and I believe 3-1 is fair -- really, those odds should be higher.

$100 at 3-1 odds that UConn will win a title within the next 5 years. The odds are for statistics on repeat champions over the last 50 years -- no repeat champion has won another title within five years. Take it or leave it.

Why do you keep saying I am upset ? lol.... are you normally this consistently off the mark?

I am not arguing that. I'm saying that doesn't reflect UConn's draw because the games were over early and they were against two opponets that have zero draw. "Second, I have no idea what you are talking about when you reference UK. Any champ game UK has been in has been well above 20 million...

Gotcha and agreed -- really need at least two BBs to be in to drive ratings (and a close game). Thanks for clarifying. Just curious, how would you explain TT/UVA in 2019 outdrawing UNC vs KU in 2022?
  16. Erock-conn

At this point, you cant deny that UConn is blue blood already

Apparently not as one just played for the title and you are seemingly unaware of this fact. Again, UVA and Texas Tech in 2019 outdrew UK vs KU in 2022. Also, UConn UK in 2014 outdrew Nova UNC in 2016... 2009 UNC vs Mich. State had the lowest total viewers of any title game between 2007 and 2018.

At this point, you cant deny that UConn is blue blood already

What facts ? The one where by your logic UVA and Texas Tech are bigger draws than UK and KU? I'm not sure if you know what a fact is , but that's certainly not one. And why would I be upset that you do not understand something so simple? That's not my problem -- it's yours. It'll be ok. Maybe...

Stop being purposely dense, ok Don Lemon? By your logic, we can conclude that Texas Tech and UVA (2019), which outdrew Kansas vs UNC in 2022, are bigger draws than Kansas and UNC.

At this point, you cant deny that UConn is blue blood already

It's not ideal but the games were both over early and against two no name opponents that aren't draws at all. And it was on TBS which is stupid but has to be adjusted for. For context, the 1999 UConn vs. Duke title game drew 26.3 million which was the highest over the last 25 years save for...
