My updated blue blood top 10+1

The definition of blue blood can be a bit controversial, and depending on the metrics you use you may end up with different lists. UK is the only program that is a blue blood in every aspect, while other blue blood programs all have flaws that make their status as blue bloods at least debatable...

As A CBB Fan; Who Would Be a Homerun Hire as Calipari’s Replacement?

There’s no need to fire Cal right now, and for your reference, Duke lost to 15th seed in 2012 and then 14th seed in 2014, and won a title in 2015. UK lost to 15th seed in 2022 and then 14th seed this year, perhaps history will repeat itself.

Houston looks vulnerable, Duke will give them all they can handle in sweet 16. And if they pull it through, I have a feeling NC State will beat them in elite 8 to become another 11th seed to make final four.

    Very chalky 2nd round

If you are Purdue fan you probably want it to stay this way until at least final four.

    Sweet 16 might be fantastic

I guess the good side of no upset in the round of 32 is that, sweet 16 will feature better teams and become more exciting. No one is interested in watching 10th seed Colorado against 14th seed Oakland, but matchups such as Houston vs Duke and Iowa State vs Illinois are much more appealing.

lol Houston chokes so hard, first top seed to go down.

Tbh I am more surprised by Clemson, they have always been underperforming in March and I didn’t even have them in 2nd round. NC state are a much better tournament team, they usually pulls off a couple of upsets when they made it in March, and this time they were clicking at the right time having...

ACC dominant in this tournament so far, with this being said Scott Drew chokes in March again. Lost to 6 seed twice in a row as 3 seed, barring that title winning season Baylor has been underwhelming.

    May to Louisville

Seems he went to Michigan instead, I’d make the same decision if facing the choices of Michigan and Louisville.

    Zags making 9th consecutive SW16

I’d be curious about this too, but the job of a blue blood school is a totally different experience compared to a mid major school. There are a lot more than just coaching that are relevant in such a role, and we have seen talented young coaches fail at big schools for various reasons. Chris...

KU got lucky in first round and finally exposed by Gonzaga.

Suddenly Marquette has a clean path to the elite 8, 10th seed Colorado, 11th seed NC state and 14th seed Oakland, though I also won’t be surprised if NC state kept this run going into final 4.

Shaka Smart is embarrassing himself again, if losing to a 15th seed he’s surely gonna be on the hot seat.

    Play-in game UVA vs CSU

Man why are you so triggered? I was merely pointing out the truth, Bennett is a bad tournament coach regardless of what you think. You can’t deny facts, Virginia has not won a tournament game since 2019 showed how much it was a fluke. Btw I did expect Virginia to lose but to lose by 25pts to a...

    Play-in game UVA vs CSU

Oh man UVA is so criminally bad, should have put Pitt in it instead. Tony Bennett is still the same below average tournament coach despite that 2019 title, which is looking more like a fluke each time I look at it.

    Selection show

yeah I think UConn may be able to get past one of Auburn and Iowa State, but not both.

SECT (Blood Bowl only one will remain)

Auburn won convincingly and peaked at the right time, though the committee have proven yet again that they don’t care about Sundays games at all.

    Intriguing Potential Matchups

Purdue vs St.Peters rematch in elite 8 will be very intriguing if it happens.
