    The “All Things UK” Thread

You, along with all Louisville fans will remain under Kentucky's thumb for the rest of your natural sports lives. There is no escape. You chose poorly.

    The “All Things UK” Thread

Pope putting together a great staff - experienced, successful, young and unlike Cal's lazy assistants - hungry. What a contrast to Bruiser taking up space doing nothing, getting fat with Coleman going to strip clubs and Antigua trying to prevent his dress shirt from bursting open while sitting...

Do Arkansas fans actually think Cal will succeed there?

How many top 50 did "Popester" have when he brought a handful of Mormons into Allen Field House and beat that ass?

    Damn, 22,000 people for a press conference…on a Sunday…in April.

    Who to UK?

I don't really give a shit what you call it. You're framing a narrative around this whole thing that you want so bad to be true. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but: we are not going to become Indiana.

    Who to UK?

Nobody ran Cal off. He had a lifetime contract and just received a very public display of confidence from the athletic director.

    Who to UK?

A guy who already made 100 million and just signed a contract to make 35 million more with Arkansas. Ergo - Cal didn't walk away from $33 million. He just changed where it was coming from.

    Who to UK?

Like I said, we are having an excellent off season so far. Got rid of Cal for free. (Like being cured of cancer) Got a savant for coach that bleeds blue and was national champion/captain of one of the best college basketball teams ever assembled. Got 4 million in NIL mere hours after. Can't...

    The “All Things UK” Thread

His video about Pope getting the Kentucky job was freaking glorious. We getting the band back together mother-touchers.

    Who to UK?

As long as Pope can get players to Kentucky, this will be a good hire. (I never would have hired him this soon - I think he needs more time) But - he fully understands Kentucky and his offense is great. He beat both Baylor and Kansas which Cal couldn't do and he's ranked higher in KenPom than...

    Who to UK?

Or - to your abject horror Kentucky finds the right fit and drags it's royal blue balls all over the place.
  12. CUJO_1970

    Who to UK?

Just like every other candidate for the Kentucky job.

    Who to UK?

Good. Best news Kentucky's gotten since we found out Cal was leaving...at no charge nonetheless. Drew was our AD's #1 choice - not the boosters or the fans. Now with that out of the way Kentucky can really get to work. This is the best off-season we've had in years.
  14. CUJO_1970

    Who to UK?

Drew is a good coach and would have done well at Kentucky. With that being said, I'm really glad he's staying put. He is not the best fit - KY needs a borderline psycho like Pitino was and like Cal was his first seven years. Donovan fits. Hurley fits. Those guys have the right psyche profile...

    Who to UK?

I actually like Golden and I'm surprised more people weren't talking about him. He's not ready for Kentucky tho.

    Who to UK?

Scott Drew staying in Waco is he best news I've heard since finding out Calipari was leaving.
  17. CUJO_1970

    Who to UK?

Yes he would, but well ain't good enough. Honestly I like Bruce Pearl - he's a fine coach for programs like Tennessee or Auburn - but he's just not the right fit for Kentucky. Kentucky needs an egomaniac obsessive driven savant like Pitino was. Like Calipari was his first 7 years. The only guy...
  18. CUJO_1970

    Calipari to Arkansas?

nah... The truth is it's come out that Cal tried to leverage UK using Arkansas and went to the Prez Capaluto instead of the AD Barnhart...to their credit Kentucky essentially told him to go get pumped. Kentucky gets rid of him without a buyout - best possible outcome.

Time to stop losing to shythole programs like South Carolina.
