    Calipari to Arkansas?

He's number 1 on Barnhart's list. Probably the most viable candidate. I would still like them to reach out to Hurley and Wright before. I imagine UK is wanting to get it done this week if possible.

    Calipari to Arkansas?

There's a thread just posted on Rafters that Matt Jones states Calipari maybe trying to stay at UK. You can put lipstick on a pig, but the pig is still a pig lol Meaning UK and Arkansas fan expectation. The drama continues. I think maybe the players / Recruits, we already know 1, that says...

    Calipari to Arkansas?

What he did is legal now. Even if he was an option, which he isn't at this point, the SEC won't permit it.

    Calipari to Arkansas?

I think Jack Pilgrim got that info about him stating he would listen. The other was my opinion.

    Calipari to Arkansas?

I think UK should start with Jay Wright. Offer him 10 mil a year. Give him something that's hard to turn down. Same with Billy Donovan. Besides Donovan's contract is up this year, where he's been makin 6 mil a year. I like Oates, but the fanbase would chew him up with his lack of defense...

As A CBB Fan; Who Would Be a Homerun Hire as Calipari’s Replacement?

I'ld say if he didn't, then the buyout happens. I wouldn't let Cal call the shots. Its not working. Maybe the buyout remains but at a lot less than it is currently. I'ld certainly raise the bar on the metrics as well. Cal put your money where your mouth is.

As A CBB Fan; Who Would Be a Homerun Hire as Calipari’s Replacement?

I'm thinking Cal will be back. But with a new contract that eliminates the buyout. A 1 year contract to see how it goes and to see if he has the right formula for winning, what players can he retain, what can he get from the portal, and a top notch defense. Program 1st (winning, player...

UConn, Purdue, Houston - or The Field?

Not my only reason, but I think its a good one. I also think there's a lot of pressure to win it all on them. At some point the tightness will do them in.

UConn, Purdue, Houston - or The Field?

I'm going against the Ucon grain. I can't make myself bet on them to win it all, coming from a weak conference. The Purdue / Big 10 bandwagon. Fails more than succeeds. So no on these 2. Houston won't be making it to the final 4. So I'm all in on the field.

    SEC Season Thread

UK held bama to 1.01 per possossion which isn't bad. The game plan centered around taking away the 3's and not caring much about the 2's. Cal said they couldn't beat us shooting 2's. the idea was to create as many possessions as possible. We're too good on transition and kept the to's down...

They've got string theory down. Next learning something about black holes. They've beem neglecting their defensive theories. Our 3 7 footers will try to turn Aidoo into Aidon't. Your guys are really good. Best Barn's team so far. Looking forward to the game at Rupp. It has the makings for...

SEC race is going to be a good one between UK and UT...

I'm glad the sec has gotten stronger. Much more fun and interesting. We've had a few down years, but we're Kentucky Good this year. Big Question: Has any other team, not named Kentucky, had to play an away game to a sellout T-shirt game in conference? That's R-E-S-P-E-C-T lol

There's no getting around time frames. But all time is the Mother of All Time Frames. All time is good to brag about, current trending time frames are also good to brag about. Nothing wrong with either. But they're apple to oranges most of the time.

New ap Poll is so bogus...

NCAA - Power Rankings Purdue (1): Holding steady for two weeks in a row. Kansas (2): The Jayhawks have a few All-Americans in their starting lineup. Houston (5): The Cougars are putting together a No. 1 seed resume. Kentucky (8): The Wildcats are back to being the team to beat in the SEC...

But you have lost to a team we beat lol Don't you know? I mean you gave up 60+ 1st half points to them.

SEC race is going to be a good one between UK and UT...

Computer rankings are too skewed this time of the year. You'll have a better feeling from them after Jan, then even more after Feb. Now by the eye test, Kentucky is the talk of town, don't you know. UT not so much these days. They liked how we played against UNC. Certainly more than UT.

Not on defense we wouldn't have. He's the best defender out of our guards. Dillingham gave 3 3 pters in row to Harris. His defense definitely would've helped out. He's the best on ball defender, and they ate us up with their drives. And his ability to get things rolling were missed.
