Took me a while, but once I figured out that "Cal" wasn't California, I understood how "Cal" could have relevance in ANY major sport. Had me going for a moment, though.- DuckWeber

I think some consideration has to be given to the NIT, because of the restriction, that a conference could only have one team in the NCAA tourney, that prevailed until the 1970's. I'm particularly thinking of the year that the Pac (Pac 8, at that time) had UCLA win the NCAA, and USC win the...- DuckWeber
