****NIT bracket thread for those who celebrate****

When the NCAA Tournament expands, that will essentially kill the NIT as a consolation prize for the major conference teams. It will become a full-blown secondary tournament for the mid-majors that didn't win their conference tournament and got left out of the NCAA Tournament.

The Big East should invite Duquesne

I already posted what the Big East should do by adding multiple teams and splitting up the extra teams to form their own 10/11 team conference and sharing crossover matchups and the postseason tournament.

Gave it an extra * just to signify the importance of this thread.

    Intriguing Potential Matchups

I'll take credit for putting the potential Drake vs Iowa State 2nd Rd matchup out into the universe.

    Selection show

Oklahoma, Seton Hall, Indiana State, and Pittsburgh will be the 1 seeds in the NIT should they choose to play.

    ***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

Yeah, the committee showed they gave zero f***s about the conference tournaments outside of very begrudgingly having to scrap some of their early drafts because of upsets. They also showed that you can game the NET by blowing out weak opponents like the Big 12 and SEC did, but it will hurt you...

Updating the NCAAT Champions Projection List

Updated to exclude the teams that didn't make the NCAA Tournament. That leaves 21/22 teams to pick from as the potential national champion. Also, for fun, I checked on that formula that John Gasaway shares every year where he gives the 8 teams that can win a national championship based on...

Updating the NCAAT Champions Projection List

I should note that this list will have to be amended for the teams that don't make the NCAA Tournament (obviously.....) But for the next hour or so, these are the 24/25 teams that have a shot to win the national championship.

It means congrats for making the tournament!.......... :D

Updating the NCAAT Champions Projection List

So with the above in mind, and respectfully excluding the mid-majors from consideration (as the ONLY true mid-major program to win the NCAA Tournament since it began seeding in 1979, was UNLV in 1990.), let's meet our contenders for the 2024 NCAA CBB Tournament National Championship: ACC-...

Updating the NCAAT Champions Projection List

Went back and found the old thread. The rules go as follows: -The NCAA champion is typically going to be a team that won either or both their regular and/or conference tournament titles. -The majority of NCAA champions in the modern conference tournament era of CBB have at least reached their...

    UNC fans 1 seed?

Why do you think I'm not in jail right now?.......... ;)

    UNC fans 1 seed?

Because f*** Wisconsin, that's why. I honestly don't even remember that happening. And if I don't remember it, then it didn't happen.

Does UNC Rebound & Win National Title?

I'd have to check the numbers again, but if I recall correctly, only two teams in like 20 years have gone on to win the national championship after failing to at least reach their conference tournament semifinals.

    Joe Lunardi

The Big 12 has done the same thing. In fact, they may be worse than the SEC. Oklahoma has no business in the tournament, and yet they're gonna be safely in.

    NCAAT Bubble Thread

Colorado was slotted Last Four In with Lundardi's penultimate bracket. Michigan State is gonna be one to keep an eye on. I don't think the committee has it in them to pass on Izzo in the tournament, but they actually really don't deserve a bid compared to some other bubble teams.
